Latisha has more than two decades of progressive experience in accounting and business management. Armed with a master's in business administration from Texas Woman's University, Latisha has successfully implemented effective business practices in both profit and nonprofit sectors. She firmly advocates for the necessity of a streamlined back-office support system in every thriving organization.

Throughout her extensive career, Latisha has dedicated herself to assisting organizations of various sizes and types. She specializes in creating or refining operational processes, aiming to enhance each client's workflow without unnecessary complexity.

Latisha's expertise extends across diverse industries, providing her with a wealth of experience and knowledge in internal accounting processes, budgeting, financial reporting, auditing, and key analytics.

Loretta Jenkins Walker

Loretta is a key asset to The Ilhan Group, serving as an Office Operations Assistant and fostering strong relationships with nonprofit clients. Her expertise in operational support is invaluable to these organizations. Originally from Gadsden, Alabama, Loretta is now a resident of Columbia, South Carolina, where she continues to demonstrate her commitment to community through active volunteerism on various nonprofit boards. When not working or volunteering, she enjoys cooking and relaxing with western TV shows.

Alyssa Douglas

Alyssa Douglas serves as one of the organizations Bookkeepers and is a valued member of The Ilhan Group. In her role, Alyssa plays a pivotal part in supporting the financial operations team, contributing to the overall efficiency and accuracy of the accounting process.

Abhijit Nalawade

Abhijit Nalawade is a highly versatile financial professional based in Houston, Texas, with a proven track record of supporting diverse organizations. His dual expertise is grounded in a strong academic foundation, holding an MS from Texas Tech University and an MBA from Texas A&M University. In addition to his financial support to The Ilhan Group's bookkeeping clients,  Abhijit also serves as an Executive Assistant to the CEO, demonstrating his exceptional organizational and strategic capabilities.

For five years prior to joing The Ilhan Group in March of 2025, Abhijit provided crucial financial services to various organizations within the Houston area, encompassing meticulous bookkeeping, accurate payroll administration, and ensuring strict adherence to regulatory compliance. His comprehensive understanding of income tax preparation empowers organizations to optimize their financial strategies and achieve fiscal efficiency. Recognizing the unique financial landscapes of each organization he serves, Abhijit tailors his services to meet specific needs, fostering long-term client relationships built on trust and reliability.

Michelle Buchanan

Michelle Buchanan, Bookkeeper, is a valuable asset to The Ilhan Group, offering more than 25 years of dedicated experience in the field. Her strong academic background, including both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Accounting from the University of Phoenix, ensures meticulous and accurate financial management. Michelle joined Team Ilhan in July 2024.

Grant Writer

Jenny Ryder

Jenny Ryder is a social justice focused communications professional with expertise in the creation and development of paid and earned media campaigns as well as extensive experience in organizational communications for nonprofits and foundations. She is currently a Digital Campaign Manager at Vision First, a project of New Venture Fund. She focuses specifically on issues of gender justice, abortion, and reproductive health, and has experience across a range of issues including LGBTQ+ advocacy, youth activism, and philanthropic reforms. She has previously worked as a Strategist with A/B Partners and as a freelance consultant to advocacy organizations and foundations. Jenny has been a grant writer for The Ilhan Group since January 2024.

Victor Kendall

Victor Kendall is the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships with The Ilhan Group. Victor is highly accomplished fundraising professional, renowned for his unwavering commitment to the nonprofit sector. With more than three decades of experience in the field, Victor has demonstrated a remarkable talent for devising and executing innovative fundraising strategies that have propelled numerous organizations toward their financial goals. 

Junior Graphic Artist

Abdul Malik

Abdul is a Junior Graphic Artist with The Ilhan Group.  Abdul loves drawing and cooking various types of vegan dishes.  Abdul is also a college student working towards his degree in Graphic Art and Website Design.

Aiman Noor

Aiman Noor is an eclectic graphic designer, illustrator, and visual communication strategist from Pakistan, currently based in the UK. With a Bachelor’s in Graphic Design and a Master’s in Communication Design from Northumbria University, she combines creativity with strategy to deliver impactful design solutions. 

She has experience working with UK based charities, crafting user-focused marketing communication strategies and producing digital and print ready design materials for marketing and  fundraising campaigns.

With extensive experience as a creative designer and freelance illustrator, Aiman has worked with global clients, delivering innovative, impactful design solutions across various industries. Her illustration career is driven by a passion for visual storytelling, with a focus on creating awareness on social issues such as gender equality, women’s empowerment, women reproductive and mental health issues and South Asian identity. She has developed custom illustrations for social impact projects, nonprofits, and startups, using her art to create awareness and inspire change.

Since September 2024, Aiman has been working with the Ilhan Group as a Graphic Artist where she leverages her skills to create compelling visuals and effective communication strategies.
